What resonated with me was the wanting a class or group . I have found that it does help kickstart but it also serves as a reminder that there are many like us - writers, lapsed writers - lol whatever you want to call it- that are struggling too so it makes it feel all a little less solitary.

I like the idea of an ongoing writing group because it seems like it would provide more sustained community. A class is probably easier to find, though.

I have to figure out how much time I can realistically commit.and make a plan from there. In the meantime I'll fantasize about winning the lottery, quitting my job, and getting an MFA.

Classes are good too and have a built in accountibility system.
